The other main costs of running the orphanage go on things like building repairs, prevention of Malaria and other diseases prevalent in the area, and general hospital bills and medical treatment.

PayPal charges a fee of 3.4% of the donated amount + $0.30 per transaction. On top of that they also charge another 2.5% on the currently listed exchange rate when doing the currency conversion.
